Cindy and Carol are geriatric nurses, national presenters, co-authors, consultants and developers of caregiver services in Western Michigan. They have provided leadership in creating services for caregivers which include:
  •  Development of an Adult Day Program, 
  •  Development of a telephonic Caregiver Support Line which received recognition for Best Practice by the  Dementia Coalition in the State of Michigan  
  •  Development and continuing involvement in The Caregiver Resource Network of Western Michigan.
They met 30 years ago while working together in long-term care, and shared a mission of caring for older adults as part of a family unit. As they delivered holistic care, the needs of the caregiver emerged as a priority. The recognition of these needs led them to develop support services for caregivers.

Their passion for supporting caregivers has led them to create “The Caregiver Cottage”, a virtual place of support where they will walk with you through your caregiving experience.
